BRANDING & LOGO USAGE MANUAL

CHAPTERS 1 & 2

1. Introduction & Brand Purpose

This Branding & Logo Usage Manual establishes the official identity standards for the Digital Media Journalist & Content Creator Association (DMJCCA). Its purpose is to ensure that every logo, publication, website, social media page, certificate, ID card, and promotional material presents a consistent and professional image across India.

The DMJCCA brand represents: Professionalism, Integrity, Responsible Journalism, Digital Innovation, Unity, Transparency, Trust, and National Identity. Every member shall protect and promote these values.

CHAPTERS 3 & 4

2. Official Name & Tagline

  • Full Name: Digital Media Journalist & Content Creator Association (shall be used in all legal and official documents).
  • Short Name & Abbreviation: DMJCCA (may be used only after the full name has been mentioned once in the document).
  • Official Tagline: “United Voice of India’s Digital Media Community” (shall not be modified or translated without approval from National Headquarters).

CHAPTERS 5, 6 & 7

3. Official Logo, Variations & Ownership

The official logo consists of a Globe, Digital Elements, Press Symbol, National Colors, and Association Name. It represents Unity, Journalism, Technology, National Reach, and Professional Standards.

Approved Versions: Full Color Logo, White Logo, Black Logo, Icon Only, Horizontal Logo, Vertical Logo, and Social Media Icon. No other versions shall be created without written approval.

Logo Ownership Notice

The logo is the exclusive intellectual property of DMJCCA. No member shall register it, sell it, modify it, license it, or trademark it personally.

4. Official Color Palette & Specifications

These colours shall be used consistently across all Association materials:

5. Typography, Sizing & Incorrect Usage

  • Official English Font: Poppins (Alternative: Montserrat | Fallback: Arial).
  • Official Hindi Font: Noto Sans Devanagari.
  • Logo Clear Space: Maintain clear space equal to the height of the logo icon on all sides; no text or graphics shall intrude.
  • Minimum Logo Size: Print: 25 mm width | Website: 180 px width | Mobile: 120 px width | Social Media Profile: 512 × 512 px.
  • Background Usage: Allowed only on White, Blue, Light Grey, and Transparent backgrounds. Avoid busy, patterned, or low-contrast backgrounds.

Incorrect Logo Usage (Strictly Prohibited)

Do not: stretch, compress, rotate, add shadows, change colours, add outlines, remove elements, place inside random shapes, or add animation without approval.

CHAPTERS 14 – 20

6. Seals, Collaterals & Digital Standards

  • Official Seal: Contains Official Logo, Association Name, Registration Number, and Year of Establishment. Exclusively for Certificates, Legal Documents, Official Letters, MoUs, and Membership Documents.
  • Letterheads & Business Cards: Must include Logo, Association Name, Tagline, Website, Email, Address, Registration Number, and QR Code.
  • ID Cards & Certificates: ID cards must contain Logo, Photo, Name, Membership Number, QR Code, Validity, Emergency Contact, and Website. Certificates must include Logo, Gold Border, Certificate Number, QR Verification, Digital Signature, Official Seal, and Website.
  • Website & Social Media: Must follow official colours, fonts, responsive UI, standard headers/footers, and verified platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads, Telegram, WhatsApp Channel).

CHAPTERS 21 – 26

7. Events, Press, Merchandise & QR Rules

  • Events & Press Conferences: Must feature official backdrops, podium branding, logo walls, table branding, media standees, and badges.
  • Merchandise: T-Shirts, caps, jackets, lanyards, bags, pens, notebooks, mugs, and USB drives must only use approved designs.
  • Digital Assets & QR: Master files (PNG, SVG, AI, EPS, PDF) are maintained by National HQ. QR codes must match official colours, link only to verified resources, and be pre-tested.
  • Co-branding Policy: Partnerships with government bodies, universities, media houses, or NGOs require prior written approval. Partner logos must not be larger than the DMJCCA logo.

8. Brand Governance, Compliance & Penalties

The National Branding Committee inspects branding, approves designs (State/District/Event logos, campaigns, merchandise), and enforces compliance.

Violations: Unauthorized logo editing, political branding, commercial misuse, selling unapproved merchandise, counterfeit ID cards, fake certificates, or fake websites/pages.

Penalties: Violations will result in a Warning, Suspension, Cancellation of Membership, or Legal Action.

Brand Usage Declaration

“I understand that the DMJCCA name, logo, tagline, and all associated brand assets are the exclusive intellectual property of the Association. I agree to use them only in accordance with this Branding & Logo Usage Manual and any instructions issued by the National Headquarters. I shall not modify, reproduce, distribute, or use the Association’s brand identity for unauthorized, political, commercial, or unlawful purposes.”


Final Declaration

This manual establishes the official standards for the visual identity, communication, and brand protection of DMJCCA. It shall be read together with the Constitution, Memorandum of Association, Bylaws, HR & Administrative Manual, Press ID & Verification Manual, and other governing documents. Any amendments shall require approval of the National Executive Council and remain consistent with applicable law.
