  1. About DMJCCA

The Digital Media Journalist & Content Creator Association (DMJCCA) is a professional organization established to promote ethical digital journalism, responsible content creation, professional development, networking, education, and collaboration among Digital Journalists and Content Creators across India.

 

  1. Eligibility

Membership is open to individuals engaged in or interested in digital journalism, digital media, content creation, communication, media education, and related professions.

Applicants must:

  • Agree to the Association’s Constitution.
  • Accept the Code of Ethics.
  • Comply with these Terms & Conditions.
  • Follow all applicable laws.

The Association reserves the right to accept, reject, suspend, or terminate any membership application at its sole discretion.

 

  1. Membership

Membership is granted only after successful verification and approval by the Association.

Membership does not create any employment, partnership, agency, or ownership relationship with DMJCCA.

The Association may introduce, modify, suspend, or discontinue membership categories, eligibility criteria, or benefits at any time.

 

  1. Member Responsibilities

Every member agrees to:

  • Maintain professional conduct.
  • Respect fellow members.
  • Provide accurate information.
  • Keep membership credentials confidential.
  • Update profile information when required.
  • Follow the Association’s Constitution and Code of Ethics.
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Members shall not misuse the Association’s name, logo, reputation, membership certificate, ID card, or digital platforms.

 

  1. Membership Card & Certificate

Membership Cards and Certificates issued by DMJCCA are intended solely for identification within the Association.

They:

  • Do not constitute government accreditation.
  • Do not confer any statutory authority.
  • Do not authorize access to restricted locations.
  • Shall not be used for any unlawful or misleading purpose.

Any misuse may result in suspension or cancellation of membership.

 

  1. Member Verification

Members may be verified through:

  • Membership Number
  • QR Code
  • Mobile Number
  • Email Address

Verification confirms membership status only and does not certify professional qualifications or government recognition.

 

  1. Code of Ethics

All members must comply with the DMJCCA Code of Ethics.

Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, including:

  • Warning
  • Temporary Suspension
  • Membership Cancellation
  • Permanent Removal

 

  1. Legal Support

DMJCCA may provide legal awareness, guidance, or assistance in selected matters related to digital media and journalism.

However:

  • Legal assistance is not guaranteed.
  • Each request will be reviewed individually.
  • Assistance is subject to the genuineness of the case.
  • Approval must be granted by the Association’s Legal Cell.
  • Availability depends on organizational resources.

The Association reserves the right to accept or decline any request without creating a legal obligation.

 

  1. Training & Events

Participation in training programs, conferences, webinars, workshops, and events is subject to registration requirements and event-specific rules.

The Association may change schedules, speakers, venues, or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances.

 

  1. Intellectual Property

All Association materials including:

  • Logo
  • Website
  • Membership Card Design
  • Certificates
  • Documents
  • Publications
  • Training Materials
  • Graphics
  • Videos
  • Digital Content

remain the intellectual property of DMJCCA unless otherwise stated.

Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or commercial use is prohibited without prior written permission.

 

  1. Website Usage

Users agree not to:

  • Attempt unauthorized access.
  • Upload malicious software.
  • Disrupt website operations.
  • Submit false information.
  • Violate applicable laws.
  • Misrepresent their identity.
  • Interfere with other users.
